Rev. Efiom received both her BA in Communication and MS in Instructional Systems Technology degrees from Indiana University in Bloomington.  She also holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary.  She is an ordained elder in the AME Church and has served as senior pastor of St. Paul AME Church in Corydon, Indiana and Alexander Chapel AME Church in Evansville, IN. 

Rev. Efiom has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. as well as internationally. She has lived in Germany and speaks some German.  She also lived and worked in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish.  As a seminary student Rev. Efiom was involved in cultural immersion trips to both South Africa and Jamaica. 

Rev. Efiom was recently accepted as one of 18 pastors to the Wabash Pastoral Leadership Program.  The focus of the program is to engage pastors in explorations of critical economic, educational, and political challenges facing Indiana communities and help them develop the knowledge and skills to become stronger leaders in their congregations and communities.  The program will include two international study trips.

Rev. Efiom is orignally from Queens, New York.  She is married to Patrick Okon Efiom from Nigeria and together they have five children ranging in age from 12 to 27.  They are the proud "Nana" and "Papa" of their six year old grandson Rashan Efiom.
